IMMEDIATE RELEASE May 4, 2011 Winston Salem, NC - The 2011 racing season at historic Bowman Gray Stadium is officially one week old and already expectations are running very high for Jonathan "Jon Boy" Brown. In just his 3rd full season of competition in the ultra-competitive Modified division Jonathan and his team are coming off a strong second place finish, positioning them 2 nd in points and prepared to make a title run in 2011.

"Nobody expects more from me than I do" Jonathan Brown expressed. "We have been trying to take on some of the best modified drivers in the country on a weekly basis on the toughest race track in the country with something less than the best equipment since we started. This year is a different story. I have a great car and some killer horsepower from Salter Racing engines. My crew chief, Randy Armstrong and I are squarely on the same page now and we are ready to take down our first Bowman Gray Stadium Modified title. I have a great group of guys who are dedicated to that goal so I would suggest these guys get used to seeing the 53 car up front.

" Jonathan "Jon Boy" Brown has been a fan favorite from his first appearance at Bowman Gray Stadium and has injected himself into the mix with the front runners ever since. The 2011 season will be important to Brown as he will focus on capturing that prestigious title at Bowman Gray Stadium as well as select Whelen Southern Modified Tour events and a few USMTS Modified events around the country.
