Carteret County Speedway Set for April 2nd

The entries for the “Crystal Coast 125” at Carteret County Speedway on April 2nd

Three SMRT veterans are on the early entry list headed by the most recent SMRT winner, Cale Gale in the Rheem/Gale Force car. Gale on the final event of the 2015 season at Carteret County and can't wait to return there in April. Other veterans include Jimmy Wallace in the Carolina Drilling/Reece's Crushing/Roy Hill Drag Racing School/Berrier Farms ride and Mike Norman in the Speedway Auctions/Stormie Speaks Nationwide Insurance/Go Aero Mod. Wallace is moving up to a regular “tour type” Modified in 2016 opening the door to the winners circle in the “Mod Lite” division.

Three candidates for the 2016 SMRT “Rookie of the Year” title also filed entries for CCS. Jason Tutterow will pilot the Carolina Drilling/Berrier Farms Modified. Rich “Underdog” Kilmarchuk handles the controls on the Foothills Kung Fu Academy/Team “K” Racing Mod Lite ride and Scott Eberhart pilots the Graham Piping/Amerifast/Black Diamond Customs/S & D Body Lines Mod Lite.

These teams also took advantage of the $10.00 discounted early entry opportunity at the SMRT Meeting Saturday. Any teams interested in taking advantage of this same opportunity can contact me and I will be happy to mail or email the form to you. The entry form for CCS must be returned by February 22 to be eligible to receive the discounted Entry Fee. The payment is due as always at the track when you receive your transponder.
